The Coach

Algeria are coached by compatriot Rabah Saadane. This is the fifth time he been in charge of the Algeria national team. Saadane was Algeria's coach the last time it played at the World Cup in 1986.

Algeria's strengths

Algeria are at their strongest in the midfield. Their four best midfielders play in Europe's best leagues.

Algeria's weakness

Algeria's two main weakness is in their goal keeping department and at right-back. Only one of Algeria's goalkeepers plays in Europe and he only plays in the France's Ligue 2. Algeria's two right-backs have no experience of playing in Europe.
